Paul Masefield

Paul used to play professional football in England for a number of years, representing the likes of Birmingham, Stockport and Preston before moving to Hong Kong.
There he played for the Hong Kong selection side taking on the likes of Sampdoria, Inter Milan and the Yugoslavian national side.
Indeed, Masefield went up against the likes of Ruud Gullit, who he says he managed to snub thanks to a tight man to man marking system!
Now in Singapore, where Masefield plays professionally, the Midlander also owns his own company that acts as a coaching school for kids.
In his playing days away from Singapore, Masefield has also faced Manchester United, been smashed in the face by Stuart Pearce and faced the heartache of being left out of, not one, but three trips to Wembley thanks to not being picked in the squad despite traveling down to London with the rest of the team.
Paul is a most welcomed pundit onto the ESPN STAR Sports coverage of the English Premier League this season and we hope you enjoy him as much as we do.
