Jasmin Harizovic
Jasmin
stopped his football career in 2002 in order to further his studies, for which
he decided to come to Malaysia. However, even though he stopped playing football,
his passion for it never died so he continued actively enjoying it and sharing
his love for the game through Little League Malaysia Soccer programs. It has
been more than 4 years since he joined Little League Soccer Malaysia as a part
time Coach, and he still feels great about it.
Like many of our Little Leaguers, Jasmin started training football at the age of 6. Since then, he has successfully passed through all the age selections, reaching all the way to become a professional goalkeeper at an amazingly young age of only 16. He played for his favorite team “FC Novi Pazar”, competing in Yugoslavian 2nd National Division (later Serbian 1st Division). Even now, the flag of “FC Novi Pazar” is proudly displayed in his car, regardless of the fact that no one would know about that team here in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, he has earned a Bachelors degree in Information and Communication Technologies, and soon he is to be awarded Master degree title in Business Administration (MBA), hoping he will become successful manager in a near future. He has worked as hard for it as he did for his football career; and as seriously and professionally as for his coaching duties.
