Little League Soccer Sdn Bhd is a company that specialises in the football industry of Malaysia. It is a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia with a paid-up capital of RM 200,000. The main shareholder is Little League Pte Ltd of Singapore. The Group Managing Director is Mr. Paul Masefield, a well-known footballer, coach and ESPN/ Star Sports TV commentator and football pundit.
Our main activities are coaching football as a co-curricular activity in schools, public coaching of football from ages 6 to 18 years old, coaching of football teams and clubs (all ages) , organising football clinics and camps, and organising leagues and tournaments for children, adults and veterans, facility and academy management .
Little League Soccer has been active in Malaysia since 2000, starting with an invitat ion to coach at Alice Smith School. In 2006 we are running private programmes for Alice Smith School, Garden Internat ional School, International School of Kuala Lumpur ( ISKL) , ELC International School and The French School. We are also privately contracted to coach a select few teams that participate in our specialized football programmes and leagues such as the French Football Academy and the KL Youth League.
We also run Kick-Star t and Centre of Excellence (COE) programmes, clinics, camps, tournaments and leagues for the public at a growing number of centres in Malaysia.
Little League Soccer current ly coaches approximately 1,000 kids in Kuala Lumpur.
In Singapore, Little League Pte Ltd coaches approximately 1,500 kids. It has been awarded Best Small Business Enterprise by the British Chamber of Commerce.
Little League has started business in Thailand as of November 2005, working with the British Club in Bangkok and Etihad Airlines. Our coaches are sponsored by Adidas (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
Our Recent Successes
In February 2006 Little League Malaysia too four age-group teams to Hong Kong at a tournament called the Asia Soccer Tournament . There were teams from Japan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Little League Malaysia were the overall champions, winning 2 of the 4 divisions, the Under 10’s and the most prest igious Under 14’s, and 2nd in the Under 12’s and 3rd in the Under 8's.
In November 2005, Little League Malaysia took four age-group teams to Thailand for an International Age-group tournament organised by Can-U-Kick-It , Thailand. Besides Little League Malaysia, there were teams from Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand.
Little League Malaysia won 2 of the 4 divisions, the Under 10's and
the most prestigious Under 14's, and finished 3rd in the Under 8's.
We were the most successful club there. No other club won more
than one division.
A week later we were very suddenly invited to take part in the Royal Selangor Club’s 1 st Junior Soccer 7 ’s Carnival 2005. We got only 5 days notice, yet we won 3 of the 5 divisions, the Under 10’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s, and finished 3rd in the Under 8’s and Under 12’s. It was an outstanding performance that won us the RSC Challenge Trophy.
In June 2005, we sent 4 teams to Singapore to play in an international age-group tournament there. We made the semifinals in each of the age-groups, and went on to win the Under-12’s and finish runners-up in two other divisions.
